As the data subject, you have the:

– Right to be Informed, which consists of the right to be informed about the data processing purpose, to whom the rights which they are entitled to and the conditions under which they may exercise may be communicated, as well as which data they must provide;

– Right to Access, which means the right to have access to the personal data they have given without restrictions, delay, or excessive costs, and to know any available information on the origin of such data;

– Right to Rectification, which consists of the right to demand that customer data be accurate and up-to-date, and rectification from KAB CONNECT may be requested;

– Right to be Forgotten (or “right to digital forgetfulness”), which is the right to require the elimination of their personal data from KAB CONNECT records when they cease to be used for the purpose for which they were collected, without prejudice, however, to the retention periods defined by law; In certain circumstances this right may be limited and we may be legally required to retain your data, for example when processing your data is required to comply with any legal obligation. 

– Right to Object, which consists on the right to oppose; you may object the processing of your data for non-contractual purposes (e.g. Marketing) or withdraw the consent you previously provided at any time or after the legal deadline after termination.

In such cases KAB CONNECT will no longer process your personal data unless it has legitimate reasons and if it takes precedence over your interests. 

– Right to Data Portability, which means you have the right to receive the personal data provided to KAB CONNECT in a structured, current, and automatic reader view format, and transmit that data to another data processor.

– Right to Withdraw Consent: In cases where data processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw consent at any time for the processing of your personal data. If you remove your consent, your personal data will no longer be processed unless there is any legal basis for such processing. This also does not affect the legality of any processing we have already carried out based on prior consent.

– Right to Purpose Limitation, which allows you, in certain circumstances, to request the limitation of the processing of your data, namely (i) when disputing the accuracy of your personal data, for a period that allows KAB CONNECT to verify its accuracy; (ii) if data processing is unlawful and the Customer opposes the elimination of the data, requesting, this way, the limitation of its use; or (iii) where KAB CONNECT no longer requires the Customer’s personal data for processing purposes, but such data is required by the Customer for the purposes of attestation, use, or defence of a right in legal proceedings;

– Right to Complain: You have the right to lodge complaints with the competent supervisory authority regarding matters relating to the processing of your personal data. In Portugal, the competent supervisory authority is the CNPD – National Data Protection Commission.
